Alt attribute not showing

Hi!
We’ve detected that because of the theme we are not showing the image alt attribute that we are setting on WordPress Media Library as shown on the image below:
Is there something we could do? Or maybe is that a known bug?
Thanks!
Hello @sandra_araguas,
Could you please specify what images do you mean? It would be great if you point the exact images on your site.
Thanks,
Piotrek
Hi Piotr!
It happens with all images we upload to media library on our site blog (https://www.wesecur.com/blog)
Hey @sandra_araguas,
Could you please share with me (temporary) administrator credentials to your site?
Do not forget to set your message as private please.
Thanks,
Piotrek
Hello Sandra,
The ALT attribute for images does show if you enter it.
I just tested it on our development site.
When adding a featured image to a post make sure to enter something in the proper field.
See here https://www.dropbox.com/s/gppc6rvk2gz2cm1/image-alt-text.PNG?dl=0
Then when you look at the source code for the page you will see the ALT attribute is there.
Hi Hans,
That’s just what we did as I showed you on the first image.
And although configure it on the proper field, it doesn’t work (on any image).
Example,
Config:
On this page you can see it’s not working (as the image doesn’t have the configured alt attribute)
Hi Piotr,
I cant’t give you admin access as it’s a site on production 🙁
Hello Sandra,
I do see it on that page, see screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/ee5p5c6qjq9bndk/image-alt-text-2.PNG?dl=0
Are you sure you are clearing your cookies and cache before viewing the page?
Hi Hans,
Sorry I didn’t give you enough details.
That image is not uploaded to the media library. When I said BLOG IMAgeS, I meant the heading images, the ones that are shown next to the title and the excerpt on the main blog page. These are all uploaded to the media library and alt parameter configured.
See the image below:
Hi again Hans,
The post URL on the image is: https://www.wesecur.com/2017/08/22/how-to-protect-your-site-with-password/
Hello Sandra,
It looks like you are using a Content Delivery Network (CDN). Which seems to be altering the code somewhat.
The issue you are experiencing is not a theme issue and unfortunately I cannot help you further.
You will have to look at the plugin settings you are using or maybe use another.
