How is it possible to add additional buttons in the slogan section : Welcome?

Yes it is but you need to add it inside the file which controls the Welcome section.
Go to Appearance > Theme Editor and select the sections folder.
Then select the hero.php file.
You will see the code for the buttons at the bottom.
If you are unfamiliar with PHP code I can add it for you.
I will just need admin access to your site (link, username and password).
