Hello. When using Parallel Lite as a static/one page site, should there be a menu visible across the top of the screen? If so, I’m not seeing one. This question is also relevant to the site as seen on a mobile device. Specifically, on my iPhone, there are the 3 lines in the top right corner that universally indicate a menu, but noting happens when those 3 lines are tapped. Thank you.
Hello,
Once you create a menu in Appearance > Menu you also need to assign it to a menu section. There should be options you can select beneath.
Once you do that the menu will appear.
If you’ve already done that and the menu is still not appearing, please provide a link to your site so I can have a look.
Good morning. Were you planning on providing me additional support to this issue?
Thank you.
Hello Joe,
My apologies, it looks like I completely missed your reply.
I checked out your site and I see the menu isn’t displayed.
In your Admin Dashboard can you verify that the checkbox for the menu position has been selected?
Here is a screenshot to explain what I mean https://www.dropbox.com/s/d334og2vdaumsqb/parallel-menu-location.PNG?dl=0
Thanks for the reply, Hans.
Yes. It is checked, but all of the Menu Structure items show as Invalid. I’m not sure why, I THOUGHT all of the labels match the content within the page?
I think I see the issue. The menu directs to pages and I’m using this as a ONE PAGER. Is there a way to have the menu items point to selected SECTIONS on the one page?
Hi Joe,
Yes there is, read this http://support.themely.com/knowledgebase/parallel-setup-navigation-menus/
Thank you very much for the help, Hans! It’s working just as I anticipated. Is it possible to change the text color of the menu items? Is it possible to change the font of the menu items?
