How to translate ABOUT section content in Integral Theme
-
My apologies for the delay.
My senior developer is working on it and we hope to release an update this week with a fix.
Great news!
Just a question.
When we bought the theme, we didn’t create the account. So, how could we update the theme?
We tried to update it through wordpress, but there’s no option. Thanks Hans,
I can re-send you the download link.
Simply reply with your email address and the email you used when you purchased the theme.
Hi Hans,
The theme update is the last thing for us before launching our web. Do you know when will you publish the last version?
That information will help a lot in our roadmap.
Thanks!
Hi Hans,
One question, if we want to translate SERVICES title section in another language, what we should do?
We have WPML intsalled.Thanks!
Hi. I have the same problem. I can’t translate my About content.
I also had the problem with being unable to translate widget content (Features, Services, etc). This has been resolved by hacking the wpml-config.xml file.
See my (resolved) support thread on WPML forum here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/admin-texts-are-randomly-not-translated/
Please provide a fix for translating About content.
Hi Hans, hope you had a good Christmas and new year. I understand things will have been slow during the last couple of weeks. Could you please update us on progress regarding a fix for this untranslatable theme content?
Thank you same to you ๐
Happy new year!
Yes this is something we’ve been meaning to resolve.
We haven’t released an update since the beginning of December and the next one will have fixes for those issues.
We expect to release in the next week.
I appreciate your patience ๐
Hello @mdingena and @sandra_araguas
Ok, so we have looked into the issue of not being able to translate the About content and content which appears in other sections which require you select a page from a drop-down.
It does work, and can be done with the String Translation.
I got it working on our development server.
It works with the language switcher as well.
1. Make sure you have created a translated version of the Homepage page. And have selected the One-Page Layout Template for it.
2. Go to WPML > String Translation and click on Translate texts in admin screens ยป at the bottom.
3. Then scroll down until you see + integral
4. You will see an option services-text with a page ID number in the net box.
5. Select that option then scroll down to the bottom and click Apply
6. Then go to WPML > String Translation and you will see it there as an option. Enter the page ID for the 2nd lauguage you are using.
Let me know if it works for you, we have it working on our end so we can help you debug the issue.
You can do the same with Widgets.
widget_integral_service, widget_integral_feature, etc
Let me know if you have any questions.

Anonymous June 28, 2018 at 11:16 amHi There!
I want to translate the text that fills up the full page that are contained in the ABOUT / SERVICES and CALL TO ACTION sections (especially the newsletter signup). Alternatively it would be nice if the contact section of the page was translated too.
I followed your instructions and bought the WPML package and I am very dissapointed to find out that it doesn’t work!
Do you need Integral Pro to make this work? I was trying to do a basic setup to see if I wanted to invest in your product.
I’m currently using the free version.

Thanks for your help

WPML can be a little tricky to get a hold of.
It’s not the easiest of plugins to manage unfortunately.
In your Admin Dashboard go to WPML > Strings Translation and go to the bottom of the page.
There is a link. Click it.
You will then have the option to choose from a lot of strings to add to the Strings Translation dashboard.
You will need to select and add all the strings for the Integral pages and Widgets.
Once that is done you will have the option to translate them in WPML > Strings Translation.
Integral Pro comes with the language files and the WPML config file included.
So it does work with WPML, it just requires that you properly configure the plugin.
You can also browse the WPML support forums and documentation,
