instagram in header

Hi, I´m building a very simple photogrqphic site with a static home page without side bars, and I don’t find the way to put a instagram link on it. It seems that the widget only works on side bars. I would like to put it on header, near the menu or similar.

With this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/

You can create a menu item and add an icon to it and then link it to any website you wish.
