Is there a way to get rid of "/sample-page/" in permalink?

    I happened to make a section of the website I’m working on (Integral Pro theme) based on a sample page provided with the theme. I was editing the page and preparing to add sub-pages when I noticed that the page URL and the page URLs of its sub-pages are all turning out to have /sample-page/ as part of their path. Is there a way to change the page URL so that the permalink and the URL visible in the browser no longer contain /sample-page/?
