I created about-us Menu , under about us page , i have created sub menus.
ABOUTUS ->vision -> mission
when clinking about us page is not navigated , Please check below code About us <span class=”caret”></span>

Yes the menu does this because of mobile devices.
The parent menu item becomes an anchor for the child menu items otherwise users on mobile devices will not be able to toggle the sub-menu.

If you would like a different behavior you can replace the menu with a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/megamenu/
