on small icon before category name in menu

Hi There,
Thanks for your great work.
I purchased your novapress pro today, and loved it. One question:
How to make the icon appear in primary menu (like ! before OMG an earth icon before CULTURE) if I add a new category to the menu ?
I really want those small icons to show before the new category.
Looking forward to your reply.

PS. I’m a newbie and know only a little coding. So please explain as much as possible.

PPS. Is there any other direct way to ask you questions instead of this forum?
