Video in Header

Is it possible to insert a video instead of an image in Header? If so, what do I need to do make it possible?

Yes you can but you will need the Master Slider Pro plugin to do that.

Parallel Pro integrates with the free version of Master Slider but to add video you need the Pro version.

I just purchased everything to get this up and running. Now my developer tells me videos doesn´t run on smartphones any longer, which more or less everyone uses nowadays. Is that right? If so, what do you suggest we do?

Hello Julie,

Videos definitely run on mobile.

I think what he meant is that videos don’t automatically start playing on mobile devices unless you click the play button.

Hello Julie,

If the video is a background then yes he is right.

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do about this for mobile devices.

I would suggest using a static image for mobile devices.
