  • Wonderful! I was able to change the image of the Hero section in the blog, but it still shows a band of the bottom of the image at the top, even after adding the “margin-top:20px” bit.
This only happens on the desktop, not on the mobile version of the theme.
Any last tip? We’re nearly there!

    Thanks so much!

That’s great, Piotr, it’s starting to work very well!
The only thing now is that the picture of the banner (in the blog only) shows now a low portion of it at the top.
Additionaly, could I use a different picture in there to differentiate it from the front-page?

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it very much! πŸ™‚

Thanks Piotr, I’ll try that. Just to be extra sure, which of the index.php files? The one in the integral-pro folder?
Before I paste the extra code, is the button going to redirect me back to the front-page?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Piotr,

    Thank you for your reply.
I added a featured image to my blog page but that doesn’t show up in the blog.
What I want to achieve is to have the “blog” looking like the frontpage, with the banner and a button to go back home.
If you visit the site http://www.fantasticus.nl/sandbox/ you will see that the blog page (it is the “Agenda” section on the site, you can access it just by pressing the button in the banner) looks not at all like the theme.
Could you please let me know how to add such banner and button to make it look like home?

    Many thanks!

    Dear Hans,

    Hope all’s good.
Did you have any moment to look at this? I’m looking forward to see if we can find a solution so I can migrate the site to the root and launch it.
    Many thanks in advance!

    Guillermo

    Dear Hans,

I appreciate your reply very much and of course will make your proposal work!
I will wait until you are able to have a look with anticipation, whenever you can.

I wish you a nice weekend and hope to hear from you at some point next week.

    With many thanks,

    Guillermo

Thank you Hans for your answer!

I’m using the regular blog because I like the way a certain number of posts are shown on the frontpage with a button directing to the blog.
I tried some events plugins but they look ugly compared to your template.
We also like the idea of any member of the trio being able to add a simple post with the date from anywhere at any moment.
Obviously I’m missing options but trust me that I’m doing what I possibly can with my very limited knowledge! πŸ™‚
Looking forward very much to hear from you!

    Pretty please? πŸ™‚

Thanks very much, Hans. And would you please let me know how I could achieve that?
If it’s just a line or similar, I’d be so happy to know, being myself just an end user…

    Thanks in advance!

    Guillermo

By the way, I installed your theme in a new folder to start new (no plugins whatsoever) and there it happens just the same…

Hey Hans, did you have a chance to look at my small issue?
    To be super clear:
I used a plugin (Chronological posts) so blog posts show in that order (so, old to new).
This works well on the blog page, but on the frontpage, the posts show in reverse-chronological (so, new to old).
I tried different plugins that do the same and the issue remains with all of them.
Could you please advice so the ordering in the frontpage replicates the one in the blog?

    The link is http://www.fantasticus.nl/sandbox/

You can easily see the issue by clicking the button “Agenda” on the main banner.

    With many thanks!

    Guillermo

Of course, Hans, and thanks a lot for popping up!

    It’s http://www.fantasticus.nl/sandbox/

Oh, that’s very unfortunate. I didn’t touch at all the plugins and only used one to publish future events (without scheduling) and another to invert the order to chronological (in blogs, posts are normally presented in reverse-chronological, so new first).
I don’t understand how on the front page they are counter-chronological and in the blog page the same events are chronological…
    Any other tip?

    Hi Piotr,

Did you have an opportunity to look at this? I would love to hear soon from you.

    Many thanks!
